Yahoo UK has a quiz to determine what party you would belong to. After doing some research on some UK issues I took the test.

The results:

I agree with Labour on 8 of 10 issues.

I agree with the Tories on 6 of 10.

I agree with the Lib Dems on 4 of 10.


In Philly, I was a conservative Democrat. Here, I am a moderate Republican. In the US, I am a right wing whack job. In the UK, I am a Labour stalwart. Wow!

You really had an opinion on all of those issues? You are better informed about UK and EU politics than anyone I have ever met. They were pretty specific to the UK.

I am a confirmed Anglofile. I actually watch the PM's questions on Sunday nights on C-SPAN. I may minor in British studies. It did not take much to research the issues.

As a habitual BBC listener I knew a coupleof the issues. I was a pretty even split with Labor and the Lib Dems on the issues I knew but I would in reality probably vote anti-Labor this time just because of the war (if I were British).

Why doesn't that surprise me?

I split evenly between the three parties, but that could be because I guessed on some of the issues. :dancehal:

If you remember the thread about the murder rate in Philly you would know that I am not a gun nut. I own a pistol but I think there are waaaaaay too many guns in America.

Considering the amount of Pub fights in the UK I am shocked there is not a Mothers Against Pints of Bass(MAPS?) that holds marches throughtout England.

By the way, Gordon Brown will be PM within a year of this post. Book it.
