Really? Would this create increased cloud coverage or not?

Because if it creates increased cloud coverage it would block out more Sun causing cooling. I have a friend with a doctorate in meteorology trying to figure this out last time I talked with him.

In other words, the Earth could be replete with systems which self-regulate temperatures. We don't know.

It isn't simple.

What I do know is that science should make falsifiable predictions. Global warming proponents haven't been able to make predictions which come about. The warmest year on record was 1934. the most recent warmest year was 1998. 10 years ago.

I'm going with "natural cycles" until I see evidence that anthropocentric global warming is for real.

That doesn't establish causation. Just a trend. Maybe the Sun is getting hotter. Maybe it has something to do with cosmic rays preventing cloud formation. Maybe it is one of a million variables we've overlooked.

When anthropocentric global warming theories make predictions that come true, we'll talk.

The Earth has been slightly cooling since 1998. 1934 was the hottest year on record.

Talk to the American Physical Society:
The evidence is incontrovertible: Global warming is occurring. If no mitigating actions are taken,
significant disruptions in the Earth’s physical and ecological systems, social systems, security and human health are
likely to occur. We must reduce emissions of greenhouse gases beginning now.
Have little interest in talking about Global Warming but I will point out the original post was misinformation, and that the chart from NASA that supposedly showed no increase in temperatures actually does show an increase. As to NASA being "unbiased" that has also come into question over time. The NASA chart is very selective and not good science. Regarding cause of Global Warming, this seems to be the only question left. If Global Warming were put on trial for murder someone on the jury would need a smoking gun; however, if Global Warming were a civil trial then through the preponderance of evidence conviction would be more likely.

I agree we should pollute less, absolutely.

But we don't want to stop all global warming. It's the only thing keeping the earth from slipping into another ice age.
