Default Who won the Viet Nam war?

Having a hard time telling by reading history books and listening to the news?

If you read any history books, you would know that Vietnam is one word, not two.

That's a good one, and We Lost is two words.

Hey Colin thanks buddy,
in my opinion,

Communism is DEAD, sooner rather than later, thanks to their bankruptcy in the arms race that took place shortly after the war,
culminating in the generation of the Reagan deficits that 18 generations of Americans were supposed to end up paying.

Millions of oppressed commies living in freedom loving democratic republics today.

Can't find it in a history book or google.

It is amazing that even today, the liberals, the press can't let go,
they supported the commies all the way to the end,
now they just in large part deny what actually took place.

These views in no way reflect the views of Colin P. Varga or his staff or his subsidiaries.

Communism the economic system may be dead (or on life support in North Korea and Cuba), but Communist political parties remain very much alive and have managed to maintain political control over what have become capitalist economies.

Such is the case in both the People's Republic of China and in Vietnam.

As anyone who knows the history of Fascist political parties knows, while capitalism and democracy complement each other, democracy is not a necessary precondition or co-requisite for a capitalist economic order. If a for-profit company can make a profit under authoritarian rule, it will do so and not care that much about the authoritarianism. Same goes with dictatorships, whether "of the proletariat" or the old-fashioned kind. Capitalist prosperity tends to undermine the legitimacy of the dictator as it spreads throughout the populace, though.

U.S. companies have the chance to launch or increase their current sales in this growing market by joining Commerce Assistant Secretary for Trade Promotion Israel Hernandez as he leads a delegation of U.S. businesses on the Business Development Mission to Vietnam June 16-20, 2008.
