Comments? My brother is living in London for a year so he had sent me pictures of it. Quite a character. I can't believe he made it 44 days. What a freak/maniac/amazing feat.

I am with Soledad O'Brien who said on CNN this morning 'why does anyone care about this' ...? He's sick now becuase he hasn't eaten, hasn't slept, lost 50+ pounds ... and all these British people were interviewed today saying how brave and amazing he is.

Hello? PEOPLE? You know Mother Theresa is one step closer to being a saint, as of this week. HELLO>>>?????

Yeah, I agree there is no press in the states about it just for that reason, no one cares. Poor guy all that for nothing.

I don't knwo that I' would say for nothing ... he got airtime and chat time on CNN, and I"m sure will be interviewed by all the major networks.

My question is just ... 'why'? NOw I hear he's going to retire. From what? Freezing himself in ice? Iwonder if there's a pension with that.

What is he anyway? I thought he was a magician, but the past couple of stunts were just stupid. It is sad to think that a guy sitting in a glass box can pass for entertainment.

I'm glad you made the comment about Mother Theresa! I'm not religious, nor do I believe in the institution of sainthood, but nonetheless, the woman was remarkable. She helped so many people... When she dies, she's trumped by Princess Di. Hardly anything is said about her in comparision to Di and we're STILL hearing about conspiracy theories today. It is kind of sad because it really shows what people view as important.
