Are you serious? This is what passes for an argument from you at this point?
Look, you were always pretty challenged intellectually, and your information came from terrible sources. I have to admit, I didn't debate you in hopes of enlightening you, because from the start I knew you weren't capable of understanding anything. It was a guilty pleasure, probably of no higher calling than burning ants with a magnifying glass.
But you've been beaten to the point that all you have is "You're fat." "You love Bush", "You're gay"?
I honestly don't see any reason to continue to address you.

I'm guessing EC meant 16 words, not 11.
The 16 words included in Bush's SOTU.
The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.

They knew at the time that the information was based on documents so
blatantly forged, they might as well have been signed: Epstein's Mom. Tenet said they shouldn't have been in the speech and yet somehow they made their way back in. That was the case for war, before it became freeing the Iraqi people

True, he doesn't cite the freedom of the Iraqi people until nearly 30 lines further in the speech, which took nearly 2 minutes, but most folks would still say the entire speech would be viewed as one statement.
Still, if that's the interpretation that you want to hang your hat on, then you have to admit that the following WAS said before the "sixteen words":
  • Violation of terms of ceasefire agreement.
  • Pursued chem, bio, and nuclear weapons programs.
  • Failure of economic sanctions.
  • Failure of isolation.
  • Failure of cruise missile strikes.
  • Disregard for UNSCR 1441.
  • UN Conclusion that Iraq had bio weapons, enough to kill several million people.
  • UN Conclusion that Iraq had chem weapons, enough to kill several thousand people.
  • IAEA confirmation of uranium enrichment programs.
So saying that the sixteen words were the case for war is disingenuous at least and deliberately distortive at worst.

All that came before the "sixteen words", but it really doesn't matter. Even Joe Wilson's report indicated that Iraq was in Niger trying to buy yellowcake, I mean, does any serious person actually think they were trying to work out an agreement to buy cow peas, or onions?

Seems like a lot of folks just go on believing what they want to believe because someone with similar views told them something to support it, rather than actually taking a few minutes to read (or even watch) what was actually said.

In 1991 Dick Cheney said that Saddam was the Adolf Hitler of our time, but the previous Bush administration was able to negotiate a deal with him. During the Clinton admin. Cheney had asked that the sanctions be lifted against Iraq so that Halliburton could do business with Saddam. If Cheney had gotten his way Saddam would still be alive and the US's & Halliburton's best friend in the Middle East.

At least you have the intellectual honestly not to deny.

You "debate" me because it's your job. Or it could just be a hobby. But I suspect it's a job. You have a stronger grounding in trivia but I'm capable of understanding more than you. You prove that daily and it tickles me.

Your response would have been more enjoyable if you addressed the fact that the liquid explosion attack foiling was proven to be a completely staged hoax. I at least admit when your facts trump my world view.

Keep on towing that line Captain GayLord!
