Good luck getting Americans and the western Allies behind a pogrom to exterminate the religion of a billion people.

I think that PC speech has made it so tough to come out against a group and so the government practically must lie, or misdirect. I recall a study several years ago where young people were asked to rate Nazis and they generally could bring themselves to say anything bad about them.

Religion is a form of nonsense philosophy and politics and any practical person knows that, such as many in our government, who I'm sure are utilitarians. However, are population is extremely uneducated about it's own religions (I had to explain, on this site, to a man who published a book on it that Jesus is against killing people) and knows almost nothing about foreign religions, at all. However, it's common folk wisdom that all religions are good. This gets spat out of mouths like a bark from a dog. We live in a country where most people do not want to "find out" about much of anything, thus when abstract goals need to be pursued you cannot rely on the people.

Time:

How long is America supposed to last, and is it indeed a revolutionary country or what? Those answers will determine your opinion about taking on primitive forms of fascism.

I guess when your only tool is a hammer, you treat every problem like a nail. Once again, you have uncovered a plot to drum up support for Bush's unpopular wars. It must be true because Tannhauser the secret military recruiter replied. Unfortunately, impugning the motives behind the story does not change the story's thrust. Do you deny that homosexuals are at risk of execution in Iran? Do you think that's OK? Was this your reaction when I posted in this forum about homosexuals awaiting the death penalty in Nigeria? Was that Bush planting information to encourage an invasion of Nigeria? What's remarkable is that in both cases the stories were run in foreign newspapers and largely ignored here. That Bush is devious.

but dont you think part of the reason so many gays are here is because we have a big gay culture? it makes choosing to be gay more appealing.

Why couldn't they have chosen to be a circus clown or something more socially productive?

Adlerian, I see you making all kinds of friends here with the combination of the "US foreign policy should consist of violently reprogramming people away from any and all religion" mixed with the "gays are mentally dieased and should be fixed" perspective. Good luck with that knock-out 1-2 punch there buddy.

Re Iraq: if we went there to liberate Iraqui women, we sure are doing a lousy job of it.

What were the clearly stated goals for our numerous interventions/wars in:
North Africa
Spanish Florida
Philippines
Haiti
Mexico
Cuba
Nicaragua
Columbia/Panama
Honduras

Just to name a few?

You, yet again, really don't have any idea what you're talking about.
