Default Is China trying to kill us?

Quote:
The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the Aqua Dots recall Wednesday night.

Scientists found that the toy's beads contain a chemical that converts into a ''date rape'' drug when ingested. Two children in the United States and three in Australia were hospitalized after swallowing the beads.
Quote:
A company spokeswoman for Moose Enterprises' Hong Kong office said the production of the toy was outsourced to a mainland Chinese factory. She refused to elaborate and referred all further requests for comment to the company's head office in Australia.

"Our Hong Kong office is only responsible for operations such as logistics and shipping arrangements, we don't have any firsthand information," the employee, who would only give her surname, Lo, told The Associated Press.

Moose Enterprises said Bindeez and Aqua Dots are made at the same factory, which is in Shenzhen in southern Guangdong province. Last week, the government announced an export ban on more than 700 toy factories in the region because of shoddy products.

Seriously, this is getting more then a little silly....

While on the surface, it might appear that way, I doubt if they want to kill the goose laying their golden eggs.

A few weeks ago someone posted a story about China threatening our economy via a massive financial move. Shortly thereafter all of this stuff hits the media about their dangerous products, as if no one thought to check on it before.

I believe that we are in some kind of capitalist war with them due to their threats. It's likely that had they not threatened us that things would have been handled differently, if at all.

Its not just America its all over.
Aqua Dots are recalled WORLDWIDE!

Plus, our toys have always had lead (especially gumball machine jewelry) its just now we choose to complain about it.

China has become a competing, prosperous force and entrepreneurs cut costs in places.

The same CHINESE merchandise that gets recalled HERE gets recalled WORLDWIDE.
Right now in Japan they are having the same recalls as well as their own LABELING controversy.

Honestly, Chinese stuff is imported by all other countries! Its a Global Economy.
I bought Japanese Bento gear from a Japanese Guy and they have Japanese writing all over them but still say made in China. I bought Christmas Crackers from the UK that
all the prizes were marked Made In China. This is Worldwide!
They still let in toxic lead laced chili flavored candy from Mexico... Because the Mexicans love them!
Parents have known about the lead laced gumball machine jewelry for years and still bought their kids it.
Are the Chinese to blame for ecoli in TacoBell, spinach, Topps burgers, and Pizzas too?

In my opinion, because the USA is in debt to China, I think WE are trying to destroy THEM so we dont have to pay.
We have looked the other way for YEARS. Lead stuff has come in for YEARS and weve looked the other way.

Go look at what the FDA TURNS AWAY on a daily basis!

Blame Reagan for NAFTA!

That is exactly what I posted about above.

!
What your mistake is here is assuming that this company Moose Enterprise Pty.LTD that produced these toys is Chinese...it is not...Globalists use Chinese slave labor to make profits but the company is not Chinese...rather, it is based in Australia, and although it was impossible to get stockholder info, the CEO's name is Manny Stul...this 'Moose Enterprise' is also connected with a front company based in NJ called Genio Group Inc., whose CEO is Steven A Horowitz...Other directors of 'Moose Toys' include Jacqui Tobias & Paul Solomon...these people do not appear to be Chinese...so don't blame people in China for this...also, you can do some research & find who is the main source of Ecstacy & these 'date rape' drugs.
Here is a bit about the recall:

and an interview with Manny Stul: http://www.abc.net.au/insidebusiness...4/s1226678.htm

I don't think killing us is their goal per say, but I certainly don't think the safety of what they manufacture is of much concern to them at all.

This is a country that's turned itself into one of the most polluted on earth in less than two decades. It's a country that uses slave labor. It's a country that deals with dissidents by harvesting their organs, forcing them to dig their own graves, and sending a bill to the family for the bullet used to kill them. It's a country that forces mothers into abortions for violating the one child rule.

This is not a civilized group of people calling the shots in Chi com. If they get it through their heads that their ignorance of our culture and values will eventually kill their ability to manufacture and sell to us, they'll up the quality and safety standards, but this is going to be a paradigm shift in their way of thinking.

I, for one, do not think they can pull this off.

We use slave labor by proxy, just to point that out.

Challenge:

I'd like to see testing done on toys from five, ten, and fifteen years ago to see what type of paint and so forth is on them. I'm skeptical that this is a new thing.

I assume you're talking about American Mfgs. like Mattel (although I don't know specifically that they do it), I agree, that's pretty much a given.
Since we're going to be hard pressed to change this internally in China, wouldn't it be nice to see a warning sticker on the products, like we have with tobacco?
"Warning: Product may have been manufactured by slave labor in a sweatshop" with a photo of a child putting stickers on a doll house with mangled hands and filthy sunken cheeks.

I'll never forget seeing that most products, clothes, for Walmart were made by the cutest little kids in Sri Lanka. More recently, I saw a very pathetic story about African coffee. It was disgusted, and the more I find out the less I buy.
