It may or may not be. It could be that nothing is going on, something natural is going on, or pollution is the cause. No one knows.
Meanwhile, the ozone hole of the early 90s was a hoax, just as many scientists said. It's a natural thing that's always there. Many humans seem to be drawn to the doomsday crap and get very excited about it, and that has been going on since biblical times. What's up with that? |

The reason Gore got the prize is that because of his efforts, there are less idiots with their head in the sand pretending that the billions of tons of CO2 and other pollutants that we release into the atmosphere per year above and beyond natural causes don't have any negative effect on our environment.

So lets see, we know that the planet is warming, even right wingers admit that. The international scientific community after millions of dollars have been spent on studies over a decade of research are overwhelmingly certain that we are part of the problem and predict that there could be some dire consequence. On the other side we have a bunch of angry men who disagree simply because the left first brought the world to attention on the matter. The right's arguments are its not being caused by man and anyone who says so is part of a massive international conspiracy. When asked what is causing the problem, they say they don't know, but its happened before. Naturally they don't bother to go look into why it happened before. Warming has occurred in the past because of massive releases of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, and due to our proximity to the sun. So on one side i have science and history, and on the other side Tannhauser. I think i am gonna go with the scientist.

What? Who considers ozone depletion to be a hoax or pseudoscience?

I don't get it. A person wins a prize for doing something good for the world and gets shat upon by right-wing sychophants?!?
