You know what, John.

Here's my heresy for the day. I don't care how she spends her days. I just don't give a s@@t.

Oh c'mon chris, I bet you, like all other men, want good ole Martha. Imagine living in a grand, beatifully decorated house with extravagant home-cooked meals every day... *sigh*

What prison's she in again? I need to start composing my love proposition letter and send a copy every week

Send it to Aldersen, West Virginia. You probably simply need to address it Martha, Aldersen.

I am glad she didn't get her first choices of Danbury or Palm Beach. Send her where all the rest of the women go.

But, back to her day-to-day. I couldn't have cared less when she was in CT or the Hamptons. I've got better things to do than carving pomogranites.

Totally agree, Chris. America needs to get a life.

I'd say that's the last thing Martha would want - she doesn't want to be forgotten or left behind when she gets out-

Has anyone noticed, and I'm certain you haven't, her name has gotten progressively smaller and smaller on her Living magazine - the Food Network has rescheduled (if not totally elliminated) her From Martha's Kitchen airings.

It may seem frivilous to many, and just a (brilliant) marketing scheme to most, but I credit Martha with (re)introducing middle america to the finer (good) things - there has been a lot of retail commerce generated because housewives in iowa have to have linen dinner napkins, a book on folding napkins, and coordinating napkin rings. Materialistic and superfluous items - perhaps - but if it makes people feel good - isn't that what retail is all about...

I, personally, have nothing against Martha. I wish her luck once she pays her debt to society (assuming she really has one to pay).

Her name did get smaller on the front of the magazine. I thought it would be eliminated entirely and just called "Living". It's still a great magazine, and I for one intend on keeping my subscription, as well as watch her on tv when I can.
As far as the poll goes, there isn't a less than smug choice there, so I can't cast a vote. Unless, you add the choice of being treated with dignity and fairness, regardless of her social status.

Amen to that. It's obscene that she's locked up while Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling are free men.
