FYI the new issue of MAD magazine (the one with the George W. Bush/Dr. Suess cover) has a hilarious lampoon on Martha Stewart giving tips on how to have a stylish jail-break.

Well, it looks like Mahtha is finally getting out of the big house and returning home (under house arrest)... poor Martha...

Stay tuned for her upcoming TV show "Incarcerated Living with Martha Stewart."

Episode one features tips on making your own soap-on-a-rope, and decorating tips to coordinate your look with jumpsuit orange.

Here is a link to the statement she issued on her website:

I know it's probably a bit cynical but . . . .

You can be sure that I will never forget the friends that I met here, all that they have done to help me over these five months, their children, and the stories they have told me.
Does anyone really believe this.

I hope that she has undergone a major change based on her prison experience. But, given her history . . . I doubt it.

Hmm lets try this again.

I think Martha will always be thankful that she's "not them" and will never forget the stories of the other prisoners. But I think she'll put this period of her life in a nice decorative box in the back of her mind and move on.

I think she will return to the same old bitch she has been for years. Did Leona Helmsley change her ways after prison ? And yes if she were a man I would say he will return to the same old dick he has been for years.

Yeah, I suspect Leona is the role model.

I was always amazed at the genuine transformation that Chuck Colson (of Watergate fame) underwent as a result of his prison experience . . . and John Erlichman - who went on to provide legal services to American Indians in New Mexico.

Colson, for those of you old enough to remember Watergate, reportedly once said that he would drive over his grandmother to win an election. When he came out, he has devoted the rest of his life to a prison religious fellowship.

I think Martha will be happier yelling "you're fired" at people and gloating over how much money she has.
