Meh. They're just following the smoking ban frenzy. Italy actually passing a countrywide ban was more of a shocker.

No the article says some of the cafes are planning to interpret the ban as only applying to tobacco and also installing little glassed in "tobacco zones" for those insist on mixing their smokes.

Blends have their place I think - even the most veteran top quality smoker cannot go over there and smoke some of the Amsterdam strains of marijuana without either a. falling out of their chair or b. crawling out of the coffeeshop
