BBC: Blair to announce troop pullout from Iraq
The BBC says Prime Minister Tony Blair will announce Wednesday a timetable for the withdrawal of British troops from Iraq, with 1,500 to return home in several weeks.

The president has ordered that 1500 of the troops committed as part of the "surge" be taught how to speak in English accents, in order to minimize the impact of the British troop withdrawal.
