Default Who picks up donations?

So I have a lot of clothing, books, and toys to donate to charity. Its a good amount and I'd need to make a few trips to get it to any thrift store, salvation army, etc. Does anyone know of a charitable organization, church or thrift store that would be willing to pick this stuff up? My old apartment is in the Northeast, so they'd need to head up there.

Thanks!

The Salvation Army (1-800-95-TRUCK) will pick up at your home in the NE, but they only come into the city once a month -- and that day fills up fast. I had to wait 2 months for them to come get my stuff. However, unless you want to drop your items off somewhere, they have have a monopoly. None of the other charities I contacted pick up in Philadelphia, although some (e.g., Purple Heart) will go to the suburbs.
