Not within walking distance. Varsity, Colonial and Fiesta all deliver there ...
Check out this thread ... Best Pizza in the neighborhood? http://phillyblog.com/philly/showthr...ighlight=pizza

I like Royal Pizza on 42nd and Baltimore, which will deliver that far, because it has good crust but it is not necessarily Lorenzo's super thin crust style. BTW- the Wurst House seems to have gone noticably down in quality since they changed names and managment to the Best House but its still the spot in West Philly for beers.

Hmm. My wife and I were just talking about how much better the "Best House" pizza is than the "Wurst Haus" pizza. That's the only thing we've had--slices of chicken parm pizza and of cheese--and actually we thought it was the best in the neighborhood. Not incredible but decent thin crust pizza cooked to a reasonable heat and crispness (instead of the typical undercooked rubber) and with a tangy sauce. And not Greek style.
I disliked the Wurst Haus pizza a lot. I am also no fan of Fiesta's pizza though I do think they do a decent job on sandwiches and steaks and fries. Penn Pizza is nothing special but is better than Fiesta, in my opinion. But it's just a matter of taste. |

Allegro is decent, and I'd guess they do deliver to the swim club, since they come to my house which is not very far away.
If Best's delivery is as bad as Sean says--and I'm sure he's right--then Neil's right that Allegro is probably the best option for delivered, decent pizza. |
