then you can vote for Bob Brady. he has said he does not support the 1% for Art program because he thinks "it has run its course".

This joint is looking smashing.

They were installing the exterior lights and doing extensive landscaping today. Its a decent sized upgrade from the surface parking lot that used to occupy that parcel of land. Now if we could have 4 or 5 more world class structures like this make there way -due east down Chestnut St. through Drexels no mans land heading towards Center City- we'd really be onto something.

Penn is supposed to be building two 8 story dorms on the east side of HIll Field. Of course the former Post Office is being refurbished into the regional IRS facility for 5500 employees. Hopefully that will spin off investment and development up Chestnut. But the slow pace that things happen around here, not getting overly excited just yet.

I was walking through Jenny Holzer (Woodland) walk the other night and the lighting at Domus was so bright I thought it was a gas station. I was horrified. Now those stupid bells will be impossible to ignore 24 hours a day. Nice.
