construction site
I've noticed a new construction site on 41st Street between Pine and Baltimore and also around the corner on Baltimore between 41st and 42nd. Does anyone know whats going on?

That would really be ashame to see. I was always get excited when I see something new go up but a parking lot is so disappointing :cry_me_a:

OK my problem is I can't picture what people are talking about. The only other construction I have seen around there was the house on Woodland Terrace and Baltimore with the major rehab going on. I thought that house belonged to one of the Odonnel Real Estate clan, actually, and that they were doing the rehab work for their personal home.

I think they are talking about the sidewalk and lot work going on in the school/church lot that fronts Baltimore Ave between 41st and 42nd. There's a good amount of work going on there, but it looks to me like it could actually be laying pipe or something, since most of the actual work has taken place in the 5 feet closest to the sidewalk. But I don't know for sure.

Yes its next to the church on Baltimore. Its an L shaped lot that also fronts 41st St. They put up fences on both sides of the lot and looks like they have started digging. Just curious whats going on.

You've probably already noticed but it's a playground. Looks really great. Good equipment set up. They built a wall to brace up the lot and keep it from sliding onto the sidewalk. I presume it'll be fenced off or at least gated and will be for the school and church's use, but I don't know. They're still working on it, and the sidewalk is still out.
