I hear the prices for a quest pass at the pool are $8 for adults and $4 for kids (plus must be accompanied by a member). Does anyone know if there is a minimum age (like 2 or under or something like that?) where they do not charge a fee? Also, I thought I heard someone say it costs more on weekends, does anyone know if that is true and if so, how much it is?
Thanks! |

If I remember correctly - it's $8 per user on the weekdays and $10 on the weekends? I think you must be accompanied by a member and they can have visitors up to 40 times during the summer. If I'm wrong on this, please correct me! I was able to get a free pass for 4 hours from an acquaintance who was giving them out for trying to attract new members last month.
There is a membership person who can handle all of these types of questions and may have more information on the steeply discounted remainder of the summer membership that was advertised in the UC Paper. If you hear anything about cheap ways for members of the community to visit once or twice _without_ going with a member, please let me know! I loved it and would like an opportunity to swim laps but can't swing the bucks! |

Here's the info about joining from the other thread:
"Memberships and rentals are still available; information is available from 215-729-7439, or from the front desk at the club. Seasonal rental memberships start at $620 for one person or $805 for two; additional children are only $55 for the summer. Memberships require a one-time bond payment. Anyone interested in a family-oriented swim club is invited to consider membership, with University City and West Philadelphia residents particularly welcome." The bond payment is a $500 deposit that depreciates over 5 years. There is also a $50 capital improvement fee. You can also join as a "renter" for $200 a month which makes you not a member but have full access. |
