Their water ice selection is good. I like how there are a few unique flavors such as green tea. There are more common ones like lemon, cherry, and mango I believe, and they had diet Blueberry I think it was when I went in today. I don't remember all the flavors. If I had remembered, I could've brought a camera in and asked for permission to help them advertise. Great summer place, that is for sure!

Reasonably priced. They also have soft ice cream which can be flavored with all kinds of options. I had amaretto and tea berry. The flavors definitely came through just as described, though I like tea berry hard ice cream better than tea berry syrup on soft ice cream..

finally went there today. I didn't know that their water ice is just Philadelphia Water Ice Factory. not that PWIF makes bad water ice, but I think I'll continue going to Fred's instead.

I used to love Overbrook Water Ice, which was right across the street from Overbrook High School. My parents used to go there when they were kids, and they continued the tradition by taking me there.

Anyway, they closed a couple of years ago, and another water ice place took over.

My favorite water ice by Overbrook was Pistachio, and the new place doesn't have it. Does anybody know of any other place that may have that specific flavor?

Thanks.

By looking at Parkview's comment from this thread, looks like 52nd Flavors closed. They were not able to attract enough people unfortunately I guess?

At least I got a chance to "get my fix."
