Free Firehouse Jazz Series Schedule
Just walked back from the finale of the kick off of the 6th annual Friday Night Jazz Series in front of the Firehouse Farmer's Market at 50th and Baltimore - every Friday at 7:00. Great fun as always!
The finale is always the best part because the host Denise King has whatever band is palying back her up for a few numbers that are always crowd faves. Its always fun to see so many of our neighborhood's seniors get up and show us relative youngsters how to shake it. :dancehal: Anyway everybody should come out for at least one because its always a good time in the neighborhood. Come early and bring a folding chair. The schedule: Quote:

6-8 pm.
Denise King slightly tweaked the scehdule for the end of the series. The last show includes kind of an all star jam with among others Jamalladeen Tacuma who is the best electric bass player in North America, in my book.Minor corrections soon.

So its Friday Night Jazz season again in Cedar Park.
An abreviated season of six shows, free in Cedar Park itself so you sit with feet in the grass while digging on the free jazz or sneak across to Dock St. for some good beer.
