I guess I'm saddened that I'm not welcome there. It's where I wanted to live. I wish they woulda named it after King, personally if they had to name it at all. I'm not a big fan to the naming stuff to being with. Black Oak is quite nice. A statue is good commemoration. but, of course, I'm the problem with Philadelphia. :roll:

Like I said, the city and people in the neighborhood use both names more or less itnerchangably. Just because City Council pushed through a half-hearted renaming gesture once doesn't mean you should feel unwelcome in a public park.
Dude, I thought everyone reads "The Autobiography of . . ." at around 17. I did. Its certainly one of the most entertaining American biographies of the 20th century. |
