On the other hand, maybe the extra security cameras and lighting that will come with a bank will help deter any bad actors from hitting that Taco Bell at night. And those crimes were part of a city-wide drive-thru crime wave, too, and not particular to that location, though it may have been hit a bit harder than others. More lights, more cameras, more clear lines of sight and maybe even more attention from law enforcement -- it can only help, I think. I wonder sometimes if City Ave suffers from the jurisdiction split. If a Lower Merion cop on the other side of the street saw something over there, could they act? Just curious.
