The first time I saw this building, it was an abandoned Rockaway Bedding building with a small parking lot of its own, then a Halloween store took over for the Halloween season last year (I believe it's a chain and that there is one in SE Philly). Now there is no building there and a Bank of America will show up. No idea when. I'm guessing it will be open 7 days a week. I do not like that location being that it is next to the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut and Boston Market plaza. Bad stuff seems to happen there at night :/

Maybe they will up the security and it will improve?

On the other hand, maybe the extra security cameras and lighting that will come with a bank will help deter any bad actors from hitting that Taco Bell at night. And those crimes were part of a city-wide drive-thru crime wave, too, and not particular to that location, though it may have been hit a bit harder than others. More lights, more cameras, more clear lines of sight and maybe even more attention from law enforcement -- it can only help, I think. I wonder sometimes if City Ave suffers from the jurisdiction split. If a Lower Merion cop on the other side of the street saw something over there, could they act? Just curious.
