I need to get fingerprinted for Dept. of Homeland Security. I went to a passport place recommended by the general help number at PPD. They wanted to charge $108 for 4 cards?
Does anyone know where I can get fingerprinted? |

It was the place on 2nd and Chestnut that wanted to charge $25 a card.
Thanks for the tip about the Police Barracks. First place that's told me: a) its free b) you walk in rather than make an appointment Yeah! I'll be heading in next week. Thanks so much! Last edited by Herschel : 07-11-2008 at 01:00 PM. |

I had to get fingerprints done for the Peace Corps so I called the police department and their location and times did not work with my schedule (I work 9-6:30 and I do not have a car and I live near center city) so I called the guy on 12th street (518 s 12th I think) and he was totally cool. I told him that I needed them for the Peace Corps and he knocked 10 buck off the 20 charge (ok so it's not free, but going to the Police Barracks would have cost me money in tokens to get on the bus) They also have a location on Callowhill, it's truck, it looks kinda sketchy, but it sure beats spending my lunch trying to get to the police barracks, they're open early morning until 5pm, so it's pretty sweet, I definitely recommend him!
