Very Intersting. 7 out of 9 schools to recieve the federal grants are in Philly:

The U.S. Department of Labor announced Monday that seven Philadelphia high schools would receive grants totaling about $42 million...University City and West Philadelphia high schools each will receive $6.4 million....
The recipients plan to enlist community-based organizations to help decrease dropout rates, reduce school violence, and improve student behavior and performance. Schools will also use the grants to place students in paid internships.
