I sent this message to your e-mail address on June 29 off the blog, but you may not have received it. I just wanted to say that I read your very sweet message on phillyblog. I wanted to let you know that I was very moved. I grew up in Philadelphia, but haven't lived there since the 1980s. I live in SoCalifornia now. My father worked with children with special needs. I am moving back to W.Philadelphia next year for work and we have a 5 year old son and infant daughter. Our son is probably too young to play with your son, but when we move into the neighbourhood we will contact you regardless. I'm sure others will reply (or have).

I applaud you for trying to reach out to others, that's what these forums should be able to accommodate.
