there's water ice everywhere!!!it just depends where you live. of course, some is better than others.i've been going to the Bo Sing chinese restaurant at 40th and market lately. you get practically a week's worth of water ice for $1.

I know, I see tons of people walking around with it, but can't seem to figure out where they are coming from. I guess I'm looking for an independent stand, but I'm more likely to find it in a store or restaurant? I'll keep an eye out for one of the trucks.
Thanks for your suggestions! |

Oh, good post - we've been talking about this for weeks! I wish there was a Rita's or an independent place around here. We've stopped in at a Chinese food place on 48th and Spruce. They have the brand I think called Philadelphia Water Ice. It's not bad, but I wish they had chocolate.
Okay, perhaps a tangent, but UC would be complete w/ a good water ice place and a Sweat Gym (note how they would complement each other). ![]() |

Philadelphia Water Ice is solid. not the best but for it's affordability and availability (pretty much every chinese store, laundromat, etc) it can't be beat.
I still recommend Freds Water Ice or Via Venetto at Fiesta Pizza. mmmm I want some now.
