I just got four $1 water ices from Kulture at 45th and Baltimore. Fine water ice, very refreshing, good but not spectacular, and HUGE sizes.

Definitely recommended (+ I'm glad to be able to shop there for something!)

I never would have thought to go to the Kulture shop for water ice. Now I know!

The only flavor I care about obviously is "cold and sweet" with different colors. I do remember pineapple, but I just asked for four mixed up. When he handed it to me I though he had put two in one cup.

Sad that nobody's moved in to take over 52nd Street Flavors. There is a decent water ice shack built on the sidewalk at 52nd and Hazel. And the little Chinese Store at 51st and Walton has surprisingly good water ice. I still miss 52nd Street Flavors though.

Weird. I would not think water ice went with the fancy duds. Ooops just got cherry on my new jeans.

Seriously, it's EVERYWHERE.

Sorry, I couldn't pass it up.
