Anybody know what's up with Kelli Ann's (sp?) at 44th and Spruce? I've heard rumors of it changing hands and re-opening as more of a restaurant...

According to A.D. Amorosi in City Paper, it is going to be developed into a gastropub.

Frankly, I'd prefer that Murph ran it again and served me as an underaged 20 year old, but both of those things are long gone . . . .

I mean there is even a big corporate faux Irish red ale by almost the same name last name but lots of people pronounce it as two feminine first names. Don't know why.
