Default Finding Rooms Month to Month

Anyone know a good resource other than CL for finding decent rooms for rent? I'm not seeing very much around here, that isn't waaay out in the 48th's and what not. I'd like to grab a quick room for the summer until I decide if I'm going to stick around or not. But these apts around here are nothing but the student-ripoff-special! Overly painted walls, caked up outlets (not even grounded properly) the WORST "windows" known to man... it's as if someone covered the windows with newspaper and set off a paint BOMB in the room and let it dry.
---I'm not asking for a Rittenhouse dream loft, but at least something that is ADULT and respectable. This college kiddy stuff is embarrassing and ridiculously overpriced as it is. Is there anything decent around W/Philly that isn't a blatant con, or not in a war-zone filled with ghetto terrorist kids on ATVs and aggressive pan handlers? lol okay I know those are extremes, but I see it a lot, living around 45th/balt and it's very annoying

I'm not sure if you're looking for an apartment, or a room in a house with another housemate(s).

I own a lovely three story 115 year old Victorian half a block from Clark Park, and one of my three "housemates" is moving out the end of June. If you need something for July and August, I could arrange a short term lease. The room is modestly furnished. We are all adults, one housemate is a Drexel Professor and the other is a Computer Engineer who got his post-grad degree at Penn. The house is elegant with stained glass windows, hardwood floors, high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, an ornate fireplace, etc, Interested? Please e-mail me at buddmar@myway.com ... thanks and good luck!
