anyone know if the Double Wit is on tap yet? i got a taste of it on Saturday but it wasn't quite ready. glad that the dude is bringing back some of his classics from Mackenzies. now if only he'll brew up a batch of 5 Czars Imp Stout I'll be in heaven! heaven I tell you!

The Double Wit was delicious - got a taste Monday.

Who's excited about the Tech Support DJ night going down on Saturday the 16th? It's about time they did something like that - they're gonna clear some of the tables for dancing, and there will be drink specials. West Philly is in sore need of more DJ nights.

Yeah, I saw a flyer for that the other night when I was there. I'll probably head up to check it out that night.

Is the maple porter still on tap? Haven't had a chance to get over there, but I might get to do so tomorrow night. I hope there's still some left...

yes I quite agree. should be a great night. and I actually have off that Saturday night. I'll probably already be pretty drunk early in the afternoon as I'm attending a beer fest so I don't know what kind of shape I'll be in come later in the night though

it was only tapped a week ago. I'm sure it's got a few weeks left.

There's no way that beer has run out in less than a week...even with Dave in the neighborhood.

I had dinner last night at Dock Street for the first time. I really enjoyed the pizzas and the beers were good. The staff were friendly, even though our waiter had a bit of trouble remembering which beer was what when we got the beer tasting.

I have one question that nagged me while I was there:
Does anyone else think the atmosphere of the place is compromised a bit by the glare of the flourescent lights in the brewing room? The brewing tanks are cool, but that's some bright light coming into the dining area. I sort of thought it felt weird inside Dock Street because of this. Any thoughts?

Got some tonight and it was great. There's a new one about to come up on tap which is called something like curaco ale or something like that. Whatever it was, it looks interesting and I look forward to trying that.
