Default People for Eating Tasty Animals

Mmmmm... puppies.

Reminds me of a thread in usenet group rec.food.cooking, "Recipes for Dog?".

They threw in one for cat connoisseurs too.

Reminds me of an old housemate of mine who wanted to start a restaurant of disgusting and unusal meat dishes called "Tastes like Chicken".

What a great name for a restaurant. Trumps the two I thought of using.

Food - or Eats - cribbed from RepoMan

La Cou Rouge (Red Neck) where french food meets moonpies (with one of those wonderful gas station doors that has the electronic screen between two other layers of screen - to zap the bugs.

You might try this one instead.

Kitten with Plum Sauce:

- 1 lb boneless kitten legs
- 1 Tbl Hoisin sauce
- 2 tsp sherry
- 1 tsp fresh gingerroot, grated
- 1 clove garlic
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 Tbl plum sauce

Reserve rest of cat for soup. Wipe meat with paper towels and place in
dish.
Add Hoisin, sherry, gingerroot, garlic, salt and mix well. Leave for 30
minutes, then drain on paper towels and coat thickly with cornstarch.

Heat oil to fairly hot, then put meat in to deep fry for 4 1/2 minutes,
turning frequently. Remove with slotted spoon and arrange on serving dish.
Pour on the plum sauce and serve at once.

This dish multiplies well, but be careful not to put too much into the hot
oil at once. If your kittens are older, leave them in the marinade longer.

Does Fresh Grocer carry free-range kitten legs?

I think Chris and Jay are card-carrying members of PETA - People Eating Tasty Animals.
