mechanic in uni city
can anyone recommend a mechanic in the university city / west philly area?
i'm having problems getting my car started in the morning and i need to have it checked out. i thought it was the battery, but it happened again this morning and it wasn't even cold out. also, wouldn't the car not start at all if it was the battery?? so yeah....any recommendations for non-shady garages in the neighborhood?

try wayne's garage
if you can go a bit west, I have had good results with:
Wayne's Garage at 4521 Springfield Ave. (215) 222-5703. For someone who doesn't know much about cars, Wayne is great - he answers my questions and explains things to me clearly.

I recomend Earnie's auto bodyin Powelton. Nice old guy with his sons working alongside. 215.386-2992. He was recomended by an old UC resident and I have appreciated it ever since. Cheap and fair - friendly to boot.
