There have been a few car break-ins over the past 2 weeks on Pine St from 42nd to 46th. Try not to leave anything of value in your car. Amazing what some of these thieves get from cars.....ipods, laptops, cellphones, etc.

Other than that, University City has been fairly quiet lately. Which is a good thing....because Southwest has not!

I DO NOT understand why people KEEP on leaving things(valuable things) in plain view in their cars.

You simply do not leave ANYTHING, NOT even scrap of paper, that
anyone can see inside (in the passenger area) your car.

Is it laziness? Stupidity? A wish to tempt thieves? What is their problem?

There was quite a bit of police activity (3 cop cars) Monday morning at 5:15 am on the 4600 block of Pine st. I understand the police were there for quite a while.

Someone I know who lives in the Garden Courts said they could hear someone screaming "for the love of god, somene call the police". Does anyone know what happened?
