I think maybe I noticed it because it was moving slowly, as if it was cruising, and traffic on 47th usually moves quickly. I am male and had my dog with me. I even checked out the license plate number, but didn't write it down :-(
No problem EW. I didnt know about the tinted windows though. Were they completely blacked out?? Was it a PA tag?

If you don't remember it's ok. Good of you to even notice this.....thanks.

I think I saw him at 5:50am 12/4/06 on the block of 4600 Larchwood. He was sitting in his car with the car double parked, no lights on, engine off and I could not see anyone in the car until I passed the car and saw the whtes of his eyes. He was slouched down and looking out the window with a coat hood on. It was a dark sedan. If I realized it might be him I would have gotten the license plate, but it was not until I passed the car. I did not think anyone was in the car and wondered why someone left it there. I called 911. If it was not him, then he was up to no good.

He has committed a prior robbery at that time before and at that location (4700 Larchwood).

Thank you for the information.

I've got a gut feeling it might have been him as that's one of the areas he's struck.

Let's continue to keep our eyes peeled.

My friend's sister lives on the 4700 block of Larchwood and I don't want her to be another victim.

It is a dark street and about the time people start walking to work, but not too many people up and about. A female walking 2 large dogs had passed him and she did not notice him or the car. I assume he stayed away because of her dogs.

They were too dark for me to see inside, but it was dark also. Pretty sure it was a PA tag. I'll make a note if I see it again.

There is a link for photos of the male wanted for the screwdriver robberies at 6abc.com. He was caught on camera entering a Wawa on Aramingo Avenue after one of the robberies.

If any one recognizes him, call Southwest Detectives at 215-686-3183, 84 or 89.

I was walking along Market St 20 min or so ago and, just before I hit Preston (across from Elwyn), I walked past some guy wrestling a couple grocery bags away from a scruffy looking guy with a short salt & pepper beard (more pepper than salt) and yelling at him about taking his food. The scruffy guy was wearing a thick green jacket and skull cap.

I watched for a few seconds, until a bus got in the way, and kept walking, only to pass the state liquor store just as another scruffy looking character got nabbed by a big burly guy for trying to sneak out with a bottle of vodka under his thick blue jacket (also had a short beard and skull cap).

That general vecinity's gotten better now that the building right before the Eckerd's is getting fixed up, but I guess you'll probably have to be careful as long as the liquor store remains there.
