Well for one thing the student (age 30) was not likely targeted as a student. For another, who expects 3 guys to use a gun to force their way into your apartment at 43rd and Spruce at 11:30 am? This crime could have happened as easily at 12th and Spruce as at 43rd and Spruce.

You realize this building is accross the street from the Penn Alexander elementary school and next to a very busy CVS, right? It might as well be on campus for frigs sake.

This is ridiculous beyond compare. I was wondering if the students being on spring break would increase or decrease my chances of something horrible happening. I guess its an increase.

you know, hospitals nationwide honor a 'no questions asked' policy allowing babies to be dropped off and left in their care for anyone who thinks they are unfit to parent a child and doesn't know what the hell birth control is. i realize for most people there might be shame in doing so, and that mental capacity should be considered of someone who would dump the kid in a bag, but in case you never heard of this policy, spread the word. for crying out loud.

Hello, normally I'm a lurker, but it sounded like there were gunshots at the Millcreek Tavern, around closing time on Sunday. I live on that block and I was hoping the Fuzz could supply details or point me towards where I could find them. Knowing what was going on would contribute to my peace of mind. Thanks

An argument ended up outside with a man being shot. He is ok and the investigation is about to be wrapped up. I will keep you updated mp9.
