they could and should extend the green lines to 8th and, IMO, someday surface them north of center city and create a west philly style system in north philly. you've lost me on the PATCO thing. something about a free transfer to chicago with a loop around pitt.
Even rearranging the stations to be 14th and 18th would be great as well as opening the franklin square and bridge (del ave) stops. suddenly it's worth it to ride from 8th and market to 18th and locust if I live in rittenhouse or SWCC, or whatever it's called these days. I'd love to see a tunnel under the schuylkill and a line extended to at least 52nd under, say, spruce or up 22nd and out on the parkway or to mexico.
