Was Dynasty set in Philadelphia and surrounds?

No. Dynasty was supposed to be set in Denver, Colorado. I suppose what the out-of-towners meant was that they wanted to see large mansions like those depicted in Dynasty.

Somewhere in the Abington area, they have these gorgeous homes. I took a test drive from the Saturn dealer and it's where we drove to. I was so wowed by the houses, I almost hit an oncoming car head on. Luckily I didn't.
