Default Ancora, NJ

Here's a ghost subdivision in NJ across the street from the Ancora Mental Hospital:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...658&iwloc=addr
(its in the middle of the image)

You can see some of the houses have been demolished and only the concrete pads remain, but most haven't.

switch to regular map view and you can see that the streets don't exist on paper anymore.

creepy.

HERE is the Microsoft Live search view. Even Creepier

I used to live in Linfied, and Fricks Lock is a neat, yet creepy place. Its owned by Peco and has wonderfull views of the twin towers at Limerick.
Here is a view of Fricks Lock

Here is a nearby abondoned Indutrial Site off of Linfield Rd

and Here is the abandoned Mental hospital, Pennhurst

And finally the drive up to Centralia is worth it if you have never been before. But dont stand in one place too long, I was there once and my shoes started to melt!

Ancora - Veterans haven - Veterans haven is right next to bayside prison ward and Ancora mental institution. It was once a town the psychiatric hospital made for patients to all live together, many of the patients murdered each other, and the most of them are old veterans from the war. Eventually, so many killings took place they just shut the whole town down. It has a lot of paranormal activity and the streetlights are still left on through out the little deserted ghost town.

Im pretty sure PECO bought everyone out when they build Limerick. The village is in VERY CLOSE proximity to the twin towers.

Check out this site http://www.abandonedbutnotforgotten.com/fricks_lock.htm
