Pulled over in South Philly
I got off work around 4am yesterday, I'm a valet so I work very late. I was driving my friend home because he doesn't have a car and he lives in South Philly. I got pulled over on 6th and Mifflin and I had no clue why the officer pulled me over in the first place. He didn't say anything after I handed him my insurance, registration and license; he just hands me a ticket and goes quickly back. I looked at the ticket and it says Disregard stop sign.
But I know for sure, and I'm 100% sure that I stopped at the stop sign. I remember there was another car driving on 6th street, perpendicular to Mifflin, which came to the stop sign at the same time I came up to the one on Mifflin. The driver had his right turn signal on, so I flashed my lights to let him go first. Then I proceeded to go and a few seconds later I'm pulled over.
Should I mail in a check for the full amount and plead not guilty, or should I just send in 50 bucks with not guilty? The officer did not say anything about points but I think that is 3 points and I can't afford them along with the other ticket I got in June for going 5 miles over speed limit on Woodhaven.
Maybe its just because I drive a red 3000gt and I'm getting sick of having a sports car already, but no one really knows if that myth is true or not.
