With the season set to begin for real, how do you think the revamped 76ers will finish this year? Do you think that we will win the east? Will Iverson be MVP?

Did anyone else watch the first game the other night?

WOW. I was very impressed by our rookies. Iverson looked very happy and comfortable as well.

I'm going to wait a month or two before I try forming an opinion on the team's chances this year. Between having a new coach and trying to incorporate a couple new players, it's going to take some time for the team to get into a rhythm.

Plus, it doesn't hurt to be in the Eastern Conference, where a team can struggle the first half of the season and still be very much in the play-off hunt.

Based on what you have seen, do you like the team that we have this year?

i have a feeling that they could surprise some people, but i think it really hinges on them getting healthier. so far the injuries may have been a blessing in disguise. other than big mac none of the injuries are that serious and it's given some of the young guys/new guys a chance to get some game time without costing the team too much in the win-loss column. i can't say i'll be so positive if the starting roster isn't on the court in it's entirety within a week or so though. they've barely played or practiced together and as much as i've enjoyed watching green, salmons, korver, and dalembert gain some confidence it's ai and robinson that will be the key to their success. i think if they can avoid serious injuries to any key players, develop a commitment to playing defense, and allen tries to take better shots they'll be one of the top 3 seeds in the east and make the conference finals.
