Default Oct. 19 game vs. Giants

They keep calling it "miracle at the Meadowlands" ... comparing it to the other Eagle wins up at Giant Stadium ... but this win was far from miraculous.

A good - and much-needed - win, but still unable to perform on offense. I think the Comcast guys had a point when they said (one of them - forget who) that - if the coaches haven't already - sit down with the offense and cater a gameplan that its comfortable with, one it can execute and succeed, and then go from there. Start with what they have and then work on what they need to work on from there.

This is getting increasingly frustrating.

The team members all seem ready to put the blame on themselves, how they aren't coming together, they missed a play or two here and there, and how they need to get better - and that's great. No arguing with personal responsibility, etc.

BUT I really think there has to be a change, a shake-up, of some sort, - and I don't think that means benching Donovan necessarily. I don't think the current woes are entirely his responsibility (obviously).

I *do* think there needs to be a level of leadership that says "hey, maybe someone else should play my position or run the offense or run the defense or run the team" ... whatever - I think there needs to be some selfless leadership happening, for the sake of the team. "If I can't do it, let's see if someone else can spark things and go from there."

Something has to change - someone has to make a command decision and say "hey, we need to do something". Maybe that's some of the leaders saying "hey, I'm benching myself".

who would have thought this matchup woudl be for bragging rights to most pathetic NFC East team. in all fairness, the 'skins have been pretty pathetic too. jen, you are right. mcnabb AND Reid need to be benched. here's hoping we see at least one of those. w/o westbrook we'd be 1-5.
