Because like Eskin's show, it would be boring.

If you like the food network. If you like sports then MacNow's show is garbage.

The whole show is a gimmick. There are too many people in the booth to begin with. Sometimes it sounds like a flock of geese because 5 people are talking at once.

Rhea should get her own show at nights or maybe weekends. She works solos on Sat morning and she is decent. Morganti is ok as a sidekick but solo he sucks, he puts you to sleep. Douglas, Jones, Williams are ok as guests but I doubt they could carry a show. Marc Farzetta is a douchbag.

Cuz is good. Martarano sucks. If Missanelli hadn't smacked around a producer Martarano would not have been hired back. Bubba is a fat slob and he should be shining shoes at 30th St. Station.

Well I just turned into the midday show and they have Glen Macnow in that slot. Now I now for a fact the Cuz wasn;t pushed out for Glen. I just hope that is not the case

I always wondered if BUBBA was the one who Missanelli punched in the face that led to his firing. Now I know it was

The only guy on that station who has a half a clue is Paul Jolovitz; who ironically does the graveyard weekend shift.

When Eskin is your flagship host, your station sucks. It is one thing to be arrogant & knowledgeable. It's quite another to be arrogant and retarded; though to his credit, that does seem like a hard feat to accomplish.

I do enjoy Rob Charry, Glen Macnow (I'll miss him with Ray Didinger) and Rob Ellis.

Anthony Gargano is okay. I think he's probably the most popular host at WIP but he cannot host a show by himself. He's bad solo.

Hugh Douglas is okay but he isn't steadfast with his opinions. Soon after a caller strongly disagrees with him Hugh changes his mind to agree with the caller.

Charry reminds me of us. True Philly fans. Mike Missanelli was another one. I miss him but he couldn't keep his hands to himself. Mike is supposedly joining 950 WPEN, April 1st.

Angelo Caltaldi IS WIP. Notice that while the hosts will allow callers to bash Howard Eskin at times (and the hosts will themselves do it), they don't allow any knocking of Cataldi.

Sorry but Ike Reese with a four hour block by himself, 7 to 11pm, weekdays? This isn't a good idea but should be great for giggles and grins.

Back to Howard. Besides being a fugazy and a rump kisser he really showed himself to be a total fool last week. I mean don't like or vote for Senator Barack Obama but Eskin's comments were personal, some were kind of racist and also I believe stemmed from jealousy that Cataldi and the other morning hosts got that interview and not he, Eskin.

With Eskin everything is personal. If he is friends with someone then they are the greatest and if he isn't friends then they suck. The other thing about Eskin is he will never admit when he is wrong.

The problem with the Cuz is he is a groupie. It is almost hilarious listening to him suck up to players and ask them to go out with him. "Hey, whoever, we just met 5 minutes before the interview but let's do dinner sometime." The day after an interview Cuz is refers to the person as his boy.

WIP is a mish mosh of print hacks and ex-ball players posing as sports talk hosts. Not many if any were educated on how to be sports talk hosts. Worse yet the producers of the show dont seem to have come from a exceptional communications background either as they simply do the basics sucha as screen callers, push buttons, cue the sign that the commercial break is over etc.. No creativity whatsover, no striving to become a truly great sports station. Its a second rate station no question about it.

At least WPEN forced WIP to go out and get some player/coach interviews and stop the 24/7/365 Eagle talk.

I completely switched over to WPEN the minute they came on board . I was/am so over WIP. I just wish WPEN had done a better overall job with selecting hosts perhaps the national format wouldnt have been necessary.That being said I still preferred WPEN over WIP.

Well In case you haven't noticed it's a EAGLESTOWN because it's been the most successful sports franchise in the city the last 8 years.
