There are a large number of very nice courts in FDR Park down where South Broad meets I-95- the main park entrance is on Pattison just West of Broad. The basketball courts are after the stone bridge, but before the Skate Park under I-95.

I know there are a whole series of well used courts along Chamounix Drive in West Fairmount Park. From Ridge Ave turn west at Robin Hood Dell, across the Strawberry Bridge, road splits then go left. From Belmont, go East on Belmont Mansion Drive, then quick left to Chamounix.

I believe there are some tennis courts courts on the big Belmont Plateau recreation area just off Montgomery Drive.

There are some run down courts further up 33rd, go past John Coltrane's house, out near the disk golf course. - but you'd probably have to bring your own net.

There may be some other tennis courts in East Fairmout Park, either in the rec area between Kelly/Girard/33rd Street (basically go straight out of the Lloyd Hall/Waterworks/Art Museum Parking Lot then look around)

I believe there are tennis courts down at Schuylkill River Park- the section below Locust, with the dog park and gardens- probably have to check phillyfido.net for more specifics.

I think there are some courts in Pennypack Park, in the local park just north of Pennypack Creek, on the left.

In the Wissahickon, west side at Daisy Field has an enclosed court of some kind, but I forget whether it's a basketball or tennis. East side has Blue Bell Field, also with some enclosed court of some kind at the end of the lane but I forget whether it's basketball or tennis.

Forgot to add the most obvious - there are courts at the rec center around Memorial Hall, and I belive there are indoor courts at Gustine Lake Rec Center -that along Ridge Avenue, just south of Lincoln Drive - where they're working on a huge Arthur Ashe tennis complex with a huge indoor tennis complex in the next few years.
