Default Pat Burrell real good in the field this year

man, I just saw this guy make a good catch, all season he's been looking good out there, I'm happy to see that he's come bouncing off of that slump last year, I mean he is looking good on offense and D!!

That was a pretty impressive catch, wasn't it?

Other than the one game last week in San Francisco with the two errors, he's been more than fine on defense. It really is nice to see him rebound from last year as well as he has.

He is very impressive - that catch was unreal, and Player of the Game, too.

He makes more than $4 mil a year.

Did you see his catch to end the top of the sixth this evening? Flat out dove and saved an extra base hit.

Awesome play. He came out of nowhere. On tv it looked like it would fall in front of Glanville when all of a sudden Burrell came diving in from the left of the screen. Too bad the bullpen blew the game.

Yes, it is. First series loss in quite a while.

It was a shame ... I was there tonight. You could just see everyone's head hang once that last one went out. Glavine was fine - after the first three innings. Shame we couldn't hold on.

Nobody talks about Burrell's arm, but he's third in the Majors in outfield assists, with five. Two behind Vlad The Impaler.

He always hustles to the ball in the corner and sometimes catches batters trying to "coast into second with a stand-up double."

He's finally showing the flashes that will make him an MVP candidate, and soon.

(Now if he could only cut down on his K's)
