I think it's funny that they're making a big deal out of The Breast. In the context of the overall performance - lots of scantily-clad people writhing about singing about getting naked - is the exposure of a breast really any big deal? If my kid were old enough to be up at the time (she isn't and wasn't), and I were concerned enough about such suggestive stuff, I wouldn't have let her watch ANY of the performance, boob or no.

Who cares? we all have nipples.
Besides, it was covered. She had a little pasty on her nipple.

Janet's performance was great. I love her. She's still a sex icon. Britney always talks about wanting to be like Madonna, but all her moves are stolen from Janet.

We were having that debate last night. It was about 50/50, pastey vs ring. Does anyone know where I can see a still shot online?

I totally missed the breast thing. I heard a loud ripping song and then I saw Janet look down and then the camera cut away. I knew something tore but I thought it was her skirt and only found out about the nipple later. It was kind of fitting since the rip came right after Justin Timberlake sang "I'm going to have you 'neked' by the end of this song". I wonder how the thing was supposed to have gone.

It's on Drudgereport.com. It's a ring, not a pastey.

does it matter? it was obviously staged...
interesting that she would choose to be the "center stage" (regardless of the side of the coin you are on) considering her brother's antics. In related events, this year's SB was the first year that the Chinese Government allowed it to be publicly viewed by their country. |
