Another question then. If God is infallible then how could he create something that man would have to alter to better suite his needs, wouldnt God have already thought of that ?

Humber, you are a unique person. To make the leap from "ancient crawling things had complex eyes" to "repent sinner" takes a special mind.

Keep this stuff coming.

So you accept the site's commentary about descendant species that gradually lost their eyes as they adapted to new environments? How does that jibe with your claim that all of the "fossils" were actually laid down in a single flood event just a few thousand years ago?

Since you apparently accept that article as fact, you ought to re-read this paragraph too:

"How did schizochroal eyes evolve?
Phacops rana has large, schizochroal eyes All early trilobites (Cambrian), had holochroal eyes and it would seem hard to evolve the distinctive phacopid schizochroal eye from this form. The answer is thought to lie in ontogenetic (developmental) processes on an evolutionary time scale. Paedomorphosis is the retention of ancestral juvenile characteristics into adulthood in the descendent. Paedomorphosis can occur three ways: Progenesis (early sexual maturation in an otherwise juvenile body), Neoteny (reduced rate of morphological development), and Post-displacement (delayed growth of certain structures relative to others). The development of schizochroal eyes in phacopid trilobites is a good example of post-displacement paedomorphosis. The eyes of immature holochroal Cambrian trilobites were basically miniature schizochroal eyes. In Phacopida, these were retained, via delayed growth of these immature structures (post-displacement), into the adult form."

Like most scientific theories, those in this article involve a certain number of unknown areas and open questions. This doesn't make them less valid than "intelligent design" or the flat-out creationism you're espousing. It just means that scientists allow for the possibility that they might not be exactly right about 100% of everything.

Being sure of everything is not a virtue. A man who says he is absolutely sure that green is red is sure to get killed at the next stoplight.

I have not read the Trilobite book nor have I ever delved into fossil records but I have to say it doesn't sound right that a complex eye appeared on an organism prior to a simple eye. My gut says that the fossil record was simply read wrong. Dino records are revised constantly as more puzzle pieces come to light.

Anyway... so say this bug had a cool eye and that proves the existance of God.... then why do bee's have their intestines ripped out of them when they sting you? That doesn't strike me as a very marvelous design. Does that then disproved the existance of God?

I think it does. Fire drill over... no hellfire today.

Evolution does not absolutely mean that each living adaptation is advancement. Life evolves to adapt to new situations and environments. If an animal has perfect eyes and then longer needs them because it lives in a new environment without light it is the animal with eyes in that environment is imperfect.

It should also be noted that many deaf people believe they are just as “perfect” or “evolved” as the hearing.

Seems you are correct about the collagen... but I can't find the part in the article that says the dinosaurs died a few thousand years ago...

God gave Man free will.
