Whatever it is, the sentiment isn't appreciated in a sector that believe women are second-rate. They feel they are good enough to cook and have babies after that they should keep their thoughts to themselves and their mouths shut.
Poor folk, wait'll they die and find out god is a Woman.

Uh, you may wish to rethink your statement. The mormons actually use a similar, basically identical translation to give an excuse as to why women are inferior.

The ode expresses their equality and because men by nature are stronger they should protect them without treating them as inferiors.

It's still a patronizing image. If man and woman were truly equal in this account, they would both have been made of the same stuff (clay? dirt? What was Adam thrown together out of?) at the same time.
