Default Fighting Global Warming Hurts the World's Poor

So when we've debated global warming in this forum in the past two things have come up, usually one after the other.

When global warming skeptics like myself state that the global warming folks haven't proven their case yet, we see comments like "well we should just do something because global warming could be bad."

And to that, us skeptics point out that there could be unintended consequences.

The main thing to keep in mind is that we shouldn't just do anything for the sake of doing something without thinking through the possible ramifications.
