Greetings,
I am planning to have a Catholic wedding in the ceter city/south philly area. The attendance will be relatively small (~35 people) and I was looking for a church in the downtown(ish) area which is not so big that it would dwarf my crowd. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

Also Old St. Mary's and St. Philip Neri are small.

My sister was married at Old St Augustines and a good friend was married at Old St Mary's. Both are relatively small and beautiful. Old St Joe's seems like a good option too. Also maybe the chapel on the side of the basilca.
I thought you usually were married in your parish.

St Johns is not bigger than St Augustine's...if anything they're about the same size ...but I still think St John's is the smaller of the two. Plus the Friars are really laid back. My vote: St Johns.
