You're right, though; MBS was gorgeous, and its closure was quite a shame.

Apparently, Camden is now experiencing their own "swath of destruction":

Hmm, yes, if someone wants to see those churches, they'd better hurry up and do it before they close....

Default Chesterton is a fool

To xxxThX1138xxx,

just berween you and me, my answer to G.K.Chesterton (whoever the heck that is ... never heard of him or her):

"I don't want a church that is stuck in the Dark Ages."

"If you're in hot water enough, you'll get scalded."
(Besides I would rather be in a Hot Tub rather than hot water)

"If I swim with the current I can get to a farther destination ... and faster!"

"Take away the Supernatural and what remains is the TRUTH."
(my favorite! )

"May I be open minded enough that I can question anything, challenge anything, accept anything, reject anything!"

... and that's the way I see it!

He was a tall, fat English writer and Catholic convert.

My answer to you then is why do you need God?
If you find faith not challenging then either you are God or you
don't need faith.

....and thats the way I see it.....

I never said that. It's not nice to put words into other people's mouths.

Have a nice day!

Are there any around that still use the real candles anymore? There's just a different feeling for me with lighting a real candle as opposed to turning a switch.
Holy Ghost still uses candles:
