If you were not a believer, do you feel that the result would have been detrimental? Also, what do you attribute a need for CHOP?

I can see that you have faith and give praise for the good things, but what do you attribute the bad things to?

I know that we all suffer, to differing extents, but do you consider deep suffering a more strict test of faith?

CHOP as in Children's Hospital? I don't follow you.

As for suffering, depending on what type it is, it can be either a test or a Divine punishment (this is the traditional Jewish view, as well as my own.)

But I believe that everything that happens to us is Hashgacha P'ratit (Divine Providence.)

Maybe he's saying that if god healed you, why doesn't he stand guard over all over little children, therefore rendering CHOP unnecessary and obsolete?

(Correct me if I'm wrong, though. That's just how I interpreted that)
